MISSION The mission of the Office of Career Development is to assist students with their Career Readiness through innovative and tailored programs, services, and strategic partnerships in the community and our broad alumni network. The role of the Office of Career Development is to serve the needs students and alumni of Spring Hill College, assist faculty with professional development programming and liaise between job seekers and employers. SERVICES For students, we offer individualized services with resumes, cover letters, social media, assessment, through individual appointments and workshops and seminars. Career Development coordinates multiple graduate/professional school and employer recruitment over the course of the year. For Employers, we provide opportunities to recruit students through job posting services, recruitment fairs, and Visibility Programs that create additional opportunities for hiring managers and recruiters to interact with students in class, workshops, and seminars. We encourage students to be active in their professional development and demonstrate their Career Readiness competencies by engaging in volunteer, internship, and employment opportunities early and often. |
